What is a Brushless motor?
When talking about electric motors there are mainly two different types:
Brush motor and brushless motor.
Brush motors have been around the longest and are often found on slightly cheaper products with electric motors.
Brushless motors are newer and better technology with several advantages:
- Higher efficiency
- Higher torque
- Less maintenance
- Quiet operation
Be Careful with your throttle: some people think the harder you twist back on the throttle the faster you will go, however, once the throttle stops DO NOT try to pull back on it any harder with the intentions of trying to make it go even faster. It will not go any faster after the stopping point. You will break the throttle by doing this.
Check your brakes! make sure there is no excessive drag on your front or rear tire
Tighten them if needed or loosen them if there is a heavy drag. light rubbing noise from your brakes is normal.
Separate your two keys
Our scooters are not all keyed the same so if you lose both keys you will have to replace the key switch.
Our scooters are not dirt bikes, jumping them or trying to do stunts with them will cause damage to your scooter and is very dangerous to the rider. It can handle light off-road use. They will not handle being driven in thick sand, mud, thick grass, extreme inclines, or anything else that may restrict the motor. Noise from the front mono-shock is normal. Due to the nature of this swinging style mono-shock, it will make a light clanging noise if you hit a bump. This lets you know that the shock is working.
Special note about ride time
The distance you can get on your electric scooter depends on three factors, Speed, Riders weight, and Terrain. For example, a 200lbs person riding the EV Ultra Pro 2000W Electric Scooter UK on full speed on flat terrain can expect to get roughly 8 miles on one charge. If they ride at a half-speed they will increase the distances on one charge to roughly 12-14miles. To get the full range “roughly 20 miles” the rider will have to be less than 120lb and only do 8mph or less on flat ground. … All electric scooter range is calculated in this way, not just ours.
Please note that this scooter is not to be used on public highways, only on private property with the owner’s consent.
* Please note before purchase: – This is a motorized electric vehicle unlike hoverboards, which have many moving parts, some mechanical knowledge is needed. This knowledge is needed to help maintain the scooter correctly and to be able to make adjustments to brakes, chains, etc. *
